1. Services provided
Buff Pool Services ("Buff Pools," "Company," "we," "us") provides residential and commercial pool cleaning, maintenance, and related services. Services may include skimming, brushing, vacuuming, chemical balancing, filter cleaning, equipment inspection, and mastic and tile work.
2. Service access requirements
To deliver service, customers must ensure:
- Safe and clear access to the pool area on scheduled service days
- Pets are secured away from the service area
- Gates are unlocked or access instructions are provided in advance
We are not responsible for missed service due to inaccessible properties. Repeated missed access may be billed at the regular rate.
3. Condition of pool & equipment
- Customers are responsible for maintaining pool equipment in safe working condition.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage, faulty equipment, or normal wear.
- If unsafe conditions are identified, we may refuse service until resolved.
4. Chemicals & water balance
- We use industry-standard chemicals and procedures.
- Results may vary based on weather, usage, and existing water conditions.
- We are not responsible for issues caused by factors outside our control such as heavy rain, algae blooms, or improper prior treatment.
5. Damage & liability
We take reasonable care while servicing your pool. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to pool surfaces, plumbing, or equipment
- Damage caused by faulty or aging equipment
- Structural issues, leaks, or underground plumbing failures
Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of service.
6. Weather & service delays
- Services may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions.
- No guarantees are made for exact service times due to route variability.
7. Payments
- Payment is due upon service or monthly, depending on your plan.
- Late payments may result in service suspension.
- A late fee of $100 may apply after 30 days from the due date.
8. Cancellations & termination
Customers may cancel service with 30 days notice.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service for:
- Unsafe conditions
- Non-payment
- Harassment or inappropriate behavior
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buff Pools shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
- Water loss
- Chemical imbalances
- Equipment failure
- Property damage beyond our control
10. Indemnification
Customer agrees to indemnify and hold Buff Pools harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Unsafe conditions on the property
- Faulty equipment
- Failure to follow recommended maintenance
11. Satisfaction guarantee
We strive to provide high-quality service. If you are unsatisfied with a visit, please contact us within 24 hours and we will make reasonable efforts to address the issue at no additional charge.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
